What we did

The trailer unit eliminates need for semi-trucks and cranes, instead using 5500 series pickup trucks, significantly lowering environmental impact.

What we did

We eliminated sources of fugitive methane emissions where we could, built systems to capture fugitive methane emissions from sources that couldn’t be eliminated, and engineered a package designed to encourage more sustainable daily operating practices.

XStream Lift’s patented Ultra Low Methane (ULM) technology

Eliminates Fugitive Methane:

Eliminates the use of process gas for startup.

Eliminates the use of process gas for pneumatic controls.

Eliminates the need to blow down unit to atmosphere for starting and loading.

Captures Fugitive Methane:

Captures fugitive methane emissions from the compressor frame.

Captures fugitive methane emissions from the engine crankcase.

Redirects captured fugitive methane emissions to be used as fuel.

Reduces Total Emissions:

Gas-driven packages with ULM design reduce total scope 1 + scope 2 CO2e to within 3-8% of electric motor drive.

Electric motor drive packages with ULM design reduce both combustion and fugitive methane emissions to near zero.

Reduces Total Emissions:

Trailer-mounted packages can be deployed with a 2-ton pickup truck, and eliminate the need for heavy trucking and cranes to move and set units.
